Trailer week at Sturgis
#143
Nice 'T' shirt!! Personaly I could care less how anybody gets anywhere.... Coming from the mindset of "if you see MY bike on a trailer, stop them cause somebody stole it", to it is what it is and you get it done however you choose; nobody else's business. I've been to Sturgis quite a few time and actually prefer to get there a week or so before the rally and head out once it starts. Some of the best riding anywhere in the Hills and alot more enjoyable when I don't have to worry about some drunk knucklehead draggin pegs thru some corner and loosing it. But that's just me. I've never trailered there but wouldn't have a problem doing it if that's what the situation called for. Like they say: "You see a lot of young fools, but not too many old ones"......

I rode my heritge softail out there in 2000,had to take 3 wks off from work to do it,I live in Mass and its 2100 miles away.I love how you guys like you are critical of people trailering their bikes. Most people I have seen ride their bikes there live less than 1000 miles away.I can do that in one day (Got home from Sturgis in 2 and 1/2 days). But I cant take 3 wks off from work at one time. LET IT GO Most people have to work for a living.
We ride in from all over the place and most take the long way coming and going.
By the way, wouldn't it be the same distance if your riding or not? Just saying! Ride when you can.
