Default Road King front end noise

I have an 09 Road King with approx 6000 miles on it. I recenly developed what I can only describe as road noise coming from the front of the bike. It sounds like a car going across a bridge ( the whine you get from the tires). Its most pronounced whan traveling on a country road anywhere from 30 to 60 mph and seems to get louder when easing off on the throttle. It also happens in any gear 4th, 5th or 6th. I had it into the dealer and they changed the main drive gear because thats what the factory told them. The noise is still there after the change of the gear. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Is your front tire on of the 407 Dunlops. If so check to see if it is wearing evenly. If it is not it may need to be replaced. T

I had the same issue. It was completely resolved with the change from the 407 to the 408F (they replaced it under warranty for the cupping issue at 17,830 miles...).
