Stage 1 - w/Fuel Moto Package - Ooh Baby!
Called Jaime on Wednesday and asked a few true n00b questions regarding what can I do to my '09 UC to make it run a tad cooler, give it a lil ole umph, and some volume. He recommended his Stage 1 package with the Jackpot muffs.
Package arrived Friday. Fast shipping!
Just spent a total from start to finish installing the PCV, new A/C and the Jackpot Muffs about 2 hours. Could have been faster but my 5YO lil girl needed my attention a few times and the wife called cause she was lost trying to find our son's soccer game. I am no grease wrench by no means, but I am mechanically inclined.
Put the bags back on, attached the seat, lowered her down from the perch and fired her up. Nice low rumble, sounds good, so far. Took her out for little test ride...
1. Definitely realized a diff in power and response - the motor runs "smoother" and has more pick up - peppier.
2. Noticed a difference while in 6th gear doing about 60, juiced it a tad more and she responded better.
3. I really noticed the difference when coming into and coming out of a curve or turning a corner and not stopped - no hesitation when you twist.
4. The Jackpot muffs look GREAT!! Really dress up the bike.
5. I am not sure "I" like the sound - very low, and I am old ;-) and it does affect how well I can hear my tunes. The jury is out on the sound preference for me - at the moment. I will give it some time, I have some rides coming up and I will see how my human sound system adapts.
Conclusion - Fuel Moto rocks, good products, and I am very pleased with what I spent and the results.
FYI - My local dealer is great, they have come through for me on several occasions, BUT - I was given about a $1200-$1400 estimate to do a stage one, and I did with FM's stuff for about half that and 1.5 hours of my time.

I just added Monster Ovals and then a few days later because of excess heat ordered a PC-V from Fuel Moto. WOW! Went for a 150 mile loop today that included the Devil's Triangle and it's like riding a different bike. Fuel Moto knows their stuff.
