Amps it's always in the amps unless your into NOS just to many amps.

Just push start the **** and forget the jumpers altogether!

Get one of those cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter thingies and install the battery tender connectors on each end.. Don't try to start the bike with the dead battery while it is hooked up. Wait 5,10 or 15 minutes and disconnect the charging cable, then start i.t They may not work on a completely dead battery, but if it isn't totally discharged it will probably work fine.

I don't know much about these things but I just did some research on them after reading your post and I'm repeating what I read. Google "cigarette lighter charger".
