I get a lot of compliments on the sound of my bike and I get compliments on the billet end caps and how they add the extra touch. Go for it, I believe you will be very happy. I believe next year I am going to go back to him and have him to the CAM upgrade he does.
I believe everybody who deals with Fuelmoto is happy, whether you live next door or across the country. You get good products and service!

Oh and just as a side note. If you do go for the Jackpots Stage 1, be sure to ask for the kit that has the chrome mount for the new air cleaner. It comes in both aluminum and chrome. I went back to get the chrome one. It is visible and the chrome looks much better..

Very easy setup if you call Fuel Moto for the slip ons and pc5 with map (08 or newer). The stage one air cleaner I would recomend Arlen Ness big sucker because you don't have to remove the throtle body bracket. The bracket itself takes 20 min to remove. I did 2 stage 1 upgrades in the last 30 days. If you have an 08 good luck with the tuner install because there is no room under the seat atleast a bike with abs brakes. It's not too dificult to install it just read the manuals and your good. Plus you have this forum for questions. Save some coin..my 2 cents

Or you can do Like I did. I Bought the Aluminum one and spray painted it black before installing. It's mostly behind the football cover anyway and one less piece of chrome to clean. JMO

Last summer when I was a little cash strapped, I did a stage I on my bike for just over 300 bucks all in. I bought a slightly used fuel pak from the classifieds for 110 bucks, a new SE stage I air cleaner also from the classifieds for 60 bucks, and a set of like new 65115-98b slip ons for 150 bucks. The bike ran and sounded great, and that package stayed on the bike until the following winter, when I changed cams, and swapped the fuel pak for a power commander.

If you did it how much was involved. I am not new to a tool, but also not Mr Good Wrench either.
I'm doing a stage 1 to my 2011 FLTRU right now. Also doing several other upgrades including bars.

I'm using V&H dresser duals, monster rounds, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and TTS tuner. I much prefer to alter the bikes ECM and retain the O2 sensors over going with a Power Commander.

Although, I hear that Jamie is a wizard with the PC and has outstanding service and products.

Just my two cents.

Steve

Did the Fuel Moto Stage 1 myself, couple of hours and done. Bracket removal from behind the air filter was the most time consuming part. Could not be happier with the new Pro Touring Mufflers, great Harley sound.

The mods you are describing should easily take less than 2 hours, easily...and honestly should take less than one hour. The slip on is literally loosening and tightening 3 bolts. The air cleaner should take less than a half hour. PCV takes literally 30 seconds. It takes longer to open the box than to install it.

I did my stage one this past week. Taking the headers off and installing the new Power Duals were a little less than fun (damn exhaust gaskets did not want to stay in place, and a lot of heat shields to put on) and it took about 5 hours. But I took my time and didn't rush anything.

Congrats on your purchase!
