Yesterday I rode for about 120 miles. Had been having slow cranking problems for the past few weeks after parking it for a week or so (had to jump it off again yesterday) so I installed a new battery. I thought I felt a miss a couple of times while throttling up but otherwise the trip was uneventful.
Got home and did a code check and found these codes:
P1511 Throttle actuator control power management failure of throttle control actuator
P2101 throttle actuator control motor circuit range/performance error
I cleared the codes to make sure it wasn't battery problem related and I'll ride today to see if they come back but does anyone know where to check as to what part may have caused these codes to appear?
It should...Push the reset button again (or wait and it will flash a PN#) after retrieving your code and it should read off a PN ______ . That is your part number.Another push of the button moves you to the next diagnostic group.
