when did the bad plating start? I have a set of Rush Slipon's and the plating is great but one of my tips has a bubble on it.

This is in no way a knock on Rush but i was in Valparaiso Harley about two weeks ago which is about 15 min from Rush.Picked up the Rush catalog and asked about a set of pipes for my 2010 street glide. The guy behind the parts counter looked at me and said pick something else, that i am looking at 2 months min and they can't get anything in stock. Called Rush to ask about availability was told nothing and that i had to communicate through dealer.

I sorta of understand what Ryan is saying about when one of their chrome suppliers screws the pooch on the product. I went through something like that with my VTX. Company called Coyote something or other made gas hinges for the VTX so that you didn't have to take your gas cap off and put it down somewhere. Just flipped up like on a sports bike. Anyways these were the hottest thing going in the VTX world and he had trouble meeting demand. And then to top things off there was an issue with the chromer where they ruined an entire production run and set things back even farther...wanna talk about pissed off people! I think they would have hung this dude if they could have gotten their hands on him even though it was not his fault.

I think it is great that the sponsors like Rush and Fuel Moto etc are active on the board and know that they are opening themselves up to some heat if folks are not happy. I haven't even gotten my HD yest (should be delivered shortly) but I will check out Rush for new pipes..I like the idea of the ceramic coating to really dull the heat down that's for sure.

Hope you guys can can get whatever issues you have with Rush straightened out, seems like Ryan is here trying to do exactly that
