I know that dealers will negotiate the price on a 2010 bagger on the sales floor, and I "think" they might be willing to haggle a little bit on a new 2011 model on the sales floor. But I'm curious to know if HD dealers are willing to negotiate the price on an "ordered" bike.....even a little bit? I'm thinking that they won't, but I'm sure somebody here can tell me for sure.
Bought my 2010 in Janurary, I called 6 dealers in the puget sound area and told them exactly what I wanted and that the guy with the best price got my money. Needless to say there were a few out there that wanted last look, but I wasnt going to play the games! the one with the lowest initial price ended up with my money...and yes, they will negotiate.
