Last Sunday I took a final ride on my bike to warm it up for my end of season fluid changes so I headed for the new Harbor Freight store. It was only 35 miles from home but it took me almost an hour to get there. There is no direct route for me. The MA store is about 65 miles and a bit over an hour travel time and all but a few miles is highway. So the trade off is half the distance and no sales tax but the same amount of travel time.

The store is well situated in a shopping complex on the left heading NW and is about 1.3 miles from the Nashua H D dealer so it is easy to find. I just don't care for all the traffic lights on that stretch of road. It is a busy road. They opened the day before Thanksgiving and a salesperson told me that they weren't quite fully stocked yet but they would be soon enough and then they would have a grand opening.

On the plus side of the trip I took advantage of the Advance Auto sale of Mobil1 15-50 oil. I bought 12 qts for $48.00 and got it through the Nashua store while I was up there so I was able to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Does anyone know what the torque setting is for removing the oil drain plug?
