I just throw stuff in a listen to it rattle around. Trying to organize is an exercise in futility.

Just my shock pump, tire gauge, and valve extender. And then sometimes things I pick up at the store, etc.

I organize my bags as follows: The right saddle bag is for comgort items. It has a sweat shirt, T-shirt, extra gloves, extra glasses (day and night), windbreaker, dry socks, chap stick, sunscreen, skull cap, face mask, rain suit, and ear plugs.
In the left bag I carry HD tool set, flashlight, batteries, chem light, zip ties, rope, tie down straps, side stand puck, spare fuses, spare bulbs, quart of oil (syn-3), screw drivers, and a can of fix a flat. In the tour pack I carry a first aid kit, cell phone, water, insurance card, and owners manual. ( If the Wife rides, she takes up the rest of the space with her stuff).
I carry other stuff depending on the time of year.
