With the downturn in the economy, my father was let go from his job. The good news is this unfortunate downsizing (my father was close to retiring anyways) has given him time to pursue some of his hobbies, one of which is painting. Anyone can buy a present. It's really special when someone creates something for you. Look at what he gave me for my birthday. The picture doesn't really do it justice.

 

Nice, that will mean a lot more to you than any thing he could buy you.

Very,Very Nice.....My dad helped me paint my house once....OR should i say he showed me how to paint my house...LOL.....Goes with the old saying give a man a fish, feed him once,show a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime....Bet you are VERY proud of "Pops"....Mines long gone but not a day goes by i don't think about him!!!....He's part of my Guardian Angel network.... :-)................o~`o.....................
