Default Cleaning RG fairing question

This is the first Harley I've had with a fairing and I was wondering what everyone uses to clean the black mat finish on a stock fairing. What do you not want to use on it? Thanks

Dampen a soft cloth with water and clean dust and dirt off the inner fairing then apply Liquid Turtlewax Ice,wait 5 minutes and wipe gently with a dry soft cloth.

I only do it with Ice about 3 times a year,in between times I use Original Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner & Polish on the inner fairing and windshield...works well on both and no worrys about overspray.Don't press hard on either surface.

My last bike was black. I bought THE BLACK BOX by turtle wax to use on that bike. It worked great. The kit comes with black dyed cleaner/polish, wax, and detailer spray. I decided to try it on the inner fairing and found that it works great. The black wax puts a mild shine in the plastic without leaving any residue. The spray works great to clean the fairing between waxing.

Anyone else try the BLACK BOX on their fairing?

Either the Honda spray cleaner or Pledge.....
spray on a clean lint free rag and wipe to your hearts content.
Occasionally I will use an Armor All handi-wipe to clean and protect
from the sunlight.

I use ProtectAll. There are lots of stuff on the market you can use. Just make sure that the product has some type of UV protector in it. The mat black inner fairing will eventually start to fade out.

Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl II Instant Detail Spray. I spray the fairing down with this stuff after a ride so the bug guts don't soak through the clear coat so it's convenient to spray the inside fairing down with this afterwards. I buy it at www.properautocare.com.
