I share in your pain and the glimpse of hope for riding this weekend!!
Across Lake Michigan from you in Grand Rapids. Last i saw, suppose to hit 40's with rain Thursday n Friday. Saturday they're saying posibbly 50! So i'm hoping the rain washes the salt off the roads for a couple days and Saturday the rain quits!
Ugh, this is like waving candy in a baby's face...lol
...of course, they also saying Sunday temp highs will drop by about 30*s.

35 degrees in my driveway this morning in SoCal. 28 degrees on the drive through Santiago Canyon on the way to work. We are going to have record cold and wind this hoilday weekend, but the suns going to be out. I have warm enough riding gear and a windshield so I'm going riding. Maybe out to Borrego Springs in the desert.
It will be 35 and sunny today, but unfortunately, not warm enough to melt the ice that accumulated on the roads yesterday. I'm dying to go for even a short ride, but it's gonna have to warm up a little more than that to get the ice off the streets in my neighborhood. Once you're on the arterials, you're golden, it's the neighborhood streets that are treacherous.
Damn, I wish it were Jan 29th.....
...pass me that blunt please, will ya
Living up here near the top right hand corner of the map, my hibernation
lasts from the end of Oct to the end of March....give or take a week or two.
Gotta just deal with it and find another hobby to pass the time until spring
around these parts.
