Although I'm a couple years from 60, I retired from the Fire Department with a disability knee injury. It's been cut open a lot and still is screwed. I just bought a 2011 FLTRX and it shocked me a bit because I thought I made a bad mistake. Every day I get out on it the bike, it feels smaller and now I'm pretty comfortable and have learned the adjustments I need to do to get around. I pulled into the grocery store and parked in the handicap spot and got yelled at by some old lady. She told me this is not a cycle spot and you have to have handicap plates. I told her that's fine, look at my plate. She wanted to know how you can have handicap plates on a motorcycle. I told her the same way someone who is older than dirt can have handicap plates on a car.
