Default Soundgate Core vs Harley Boom iPod interface

Has anyone used Soundgate Core or Harley Boom iPod interface? Any suggestions or recommendations. Already upgraded to Hawg Wired speakers and amp. Ready to rock out. Would live to use my iPhone (iPod) and the XM channels off my iPhone.

This is the one I use. It makes your ipod sound as good as a cd, unlike those wireless FM modulated units.

Check with your local car stereo shop for one. If you can't find one, pm me and I can send you one for $100

Vickers1, does this connection allow you to navigate through the HK stereo? I ordered a cable through Rams Electronics (http://www.ramelectronics.net/ipod-m...IFEPDMRCB.html). This simple cable let's you use the Dock connector for better quality sound, but no charge or navigation.

Also, want to play my xm through my iPhone. Not sure if Soundgate or Harley interface supports that in the display.

Unless I read wrong, that kit still requires a FM channel allocated. And there was additional mention of an antenna of some sort if reception wasn't adequate. Sounds like an FM transmitter to me, which equates to subpar fidelity compared to the Input jack.

My wife got me the HD IPOD interface for Christmas, it is back ordered until the end of Feb. I figured out how to burn MP3 files onto a CD and can get 70+ hrs. on one CD. I returned the interface and bought a chrome front end..

This will charge the ipod and because it works thru the radio, you can control the volume thru the handlebar controls, but you have to change songs thru the ipod or iphone. That's what I use the playlist feature for.
