A couple of local dealers are offering 4.9% financing and a third year of warranty on any new bikes purchased by 3/15. I can get better financing but I'm trying to determine if the extended warranty is dealer based or a harley program. Anyone else see this at there dealerships?

 

Bought a rkc last month and was given the same deal. The 2 year factory warranty is good thru March 2013. The extended was a harley warranty

 

I think it is dealer based, there isn't any info at hd site (that I found)

 

I haven't seen anything or been told anything about it but I'm closiing my deal this thursday and will be asking before the money changes hands. I do know that the warrenty doesn't expire until 2yrs. from April according to the dealer.

 

That is a Harley deal. It's not a warranty for 3 years it just doesn't start your 2 year warranty until April of 2011. That way if you are in an area where you cant ride in the winter you still have a full 2 year warranty. If it's a 3 year warranty then I'm sure it's a dealer thing. It talks about it on the HD site.
