Default Painting an anniversary model

Would it be just plain wrong to paint a 2008 anniversary edition Ultra a different color?

Your bike do as you wish!! I'd try selling the tins first or maybe trading someone for their tins.

Nope! If you bought it, it's yours to do what you like with. There's no rules and no dress code.

I think you'll hurt the value. I had an 08 UC 105th. It was stock except for stage 1. When I traded for my 2010 RK, The Dealer gave me 18,250 for it. But like other's said, it's your bike, do whatever you want with it. JMO

Is that the one that looks like a Duracell battery? You won't have a Dura Glide anymore.

SamStone, yes thats the one and I never have liked it. I got to chose what bike I bought but the wife got to pick the color, now she hardly ever rides with me.

I don't believe that the anniversary editions are worth more money so I would say paint away. The 2003's must all be painted because you used to see them all the time now you see only a few. Special edition stuff is only special if they're made in very limited quantities. The first 2003 I saw was cool. Six months later everyone had one. We used to laugh when there were six in a row outside the bar.

There must be thousands of them! You could keep the 105th tank badges etc on it, so it doesn't lose its identity. You could accept the challenge of designing a colour scheme that Harley should have used!
