Default Headlight necklace

Hey guys. Just put the "visor style" headlight necklace on the roadking. Now im no brain surgen, but somethin aint right. The directions say loosen the oem necklace and the new one snaps in and then tighten both. I did that and it fits ok but i have a lot of play side to side. Top to bottom is ok but im nervous its gunna move back and forth on the highway. Anyone ran into this or know how I can fix the issue.

thanks
josh

Your motorcycle does not have a necklace...It is a nacelle. If your visor ring is loose you need to tighten the stock one a little more.

What Mark said. It "should" snug up very tight.

This will tell you more than you need to know.

I just installed a headwinds visor today...........very pricey, but an impressive piece.

Use a wood clamp to tighten the sides while you tighten the screws. A little of each at a time.

oooooo...ok. My bad. I guess I've always just called it a necklace. Thanks guys. Ill try that clamp idea and see what happens. Like I said its tight to the top and bottom but i have a lot of play side to side almost like its not sitting flush to the oem one and can rock back and forth left to right.
