Yep- at least the one I have on my Ultra...

Headlamp Trim Ring

This chrome-plated Headlamp Trim Ring extends forward, giving the headlamp assembly a "frenched" look reminiscent of classic "Hot Rod" car designs by recessing the headlamp and adding the appearance of depth. Functions as a direct replacement for the Original Equipment trim ring, except when used with P/N 69627-99, where it easily installs over the Original Equipment trim ring. (Does not fit with Headlamp Visor or Passing Lamp Visor.)

69627-99

Fits '83-later Touring models (except Tour Glide and Road Glide®). Fits '94-later FLHR models and '86-later FL Softail® models with Chrome Headlight Nacelle P/N 67907-96B. (Does not fit with Fairing Bra P/N 57800-00.)

MSRP US $36.95

Ok, just for confirmation, you're saying the TL LED conversion will not work with this Harley trim ring? Visor Style Trim Ring

If so, that's very disappointing.

Thanks,
Steve R.

Based on the appearance of the Visor style, I'm confident it WOULD fit. It appears the Visor style is similar to the 'frenched' style in that it fits over the stock trim ring. Appears the only difference is the Visor itself, as the rest of the trim ring looks identical to the 'frenched' trim ring...

Since I don't have the Visor trim ring in hand, I can't be 100% sure, but I am 99.9% confident.

I'm reasonably sure the TL headlight will work with any of the trim rings that fit the stock headlight... same goes for the passing lamps...

Thanks Bogie. I was wondering about that. It didn't make sense that one would fit and not the other since they both install in pretty much the same manner. I need to look at mine again. I was thinking it replaced the original trim ring, not just fit over it but this is one of the first mods I make two years ago and it's not been off the bike since so I need to check it out. Either way, I don't see why it would make any difference.

Ride Safe,
Steve R.

Happy too. A couple other tasks took priority so it isn't on yet.

Kuryakyn should have used CCFL for the halo ring instead of tacky LED's.

Thanks for the write up. I now know what headlight I am getting. My only question is there a difference between the TL if I get it through Custom Dynamics or a shop that sells TL lights? I ask because I might be able to get on at work with a discount but Im not sure if there is a difference between the motorcycle and car. Im sure they are the same but before I spend that kind of money I would rather be safe then sorry.
