We have seen a wide range of claims from various manufacturers on the performance gains from ceramic coatings in both automotive and motorcycle segments, and while retaining heat in the exhaust stream and not absorbing this heat/energy into the pipe is definetely good for scavenging, the primarly benefits from our Ceramic coating is heat reduction. It is not something we can say it makes 2-3% increase on the dyno, however because heat from the exhaust system is generally parasitic to the surrounding components any reductions in radiant heat can really help by allowing the these parts to run cooler and any associated performance gains are certainly welcomed

I pre-ordered my ceramic coated 2/1/2 headers when I first heard Jamie was developing them. I have already received and installed them and I can say first hand I was impressed with the quality. I have gone on a few short trips and I can say the heat is no longer and issue on my bike and I do not have the heat management system turned on. I even think that now I get more heat on my left side then the right but that might just be me. Now if Jamie can get me a muffler that sounds as good as my old BUB 7 slipons I would be set. Those are the deepest sounding slipons I have heard except for the V&H Hi Outputs maybe.
