but i would like to paint the grilles that have the mid/tweet. the proper way of doing it would require removing the speakers from the grille which looks impossible.

right ,,, that method has a low chance of success ,,,,,,

what about mounting seperate tweeters on the dash and use the plain grills ? ,,,,,,,

J&M systems are terrible unless you like distortion they are good for that. but don't worry you can buy those Chinese components and John will be to busy promoting his junk to help you!
You really need to git ahold of yerself.
Buyers go to China because years ago, China build factories and said if we build factories and mfg places, the business will come
Buyers go to China because of the price.
China shows you about 10 different ways to build something. Each way has a cost price, and a profit margin. They don't deceide which way you should go.
You look at the cost and profit of each build.
China can build it as good as you want or as cheap as you want
We got something here called the EPA and the Union that drives the price on things up
That is why so many things are made in China.
If you can't accept this you may have a problem
If the same things were built in the U.S. you wouldn't buy it cause of the price.

If you are gonna git on J&M you might as well shut the United States down.

John - I've tried every way I can think of to wire Your 500 WATT amp into my 2010 Ultra Classic CVO without success. I have tried tapping directly off of the front radio outputs but no joy. Do you have a wiring video or PDF that you can send me for this bike?

Regards,

LaValle

The CVO's have a different harness than standard bikes. Have you tried getting the Audio signal before the amp? If puling audio signal from right at the speakers on that bike you are double amping the signal, and the system will sound terrible no matter what amp you are using.

lavalle ,,,,,,,

Dragonfly is correct ,,,,,,

it is proper to take the signal off the front speaker outputs of the Harley HK radio ,,,, HOWEVER ,,,, you will need to plug this http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....=JAMP-RCA-ADHS in between the HK radio outputs & the J&M amp, so that the signal input level will be proper for RCA input into the J&M amp ,,,,,

then adjust the amplifier gain controls as per this video on the front channels ,,,,,,
,,,,,

please let us know how you do ,,,,,,
