Very cool!!
You know what is in it and how much. Peace of mind, feels good to do your own.

When I bought my bike the guy selling it said all it needs is a driver.

After I got it home and bought a service manual and started checking things. The oil in the engine was the blackest oil I ever changed.

I was kind of pissed, someone would let it get that dirty, and lie about what was done.

And of course, get yourself a good set of torque wrenches... keep an eye on eBay or Craigslist and you can get a decent used Snap On wrench (you'll need both a ft./lb. and an in./lb. wrench). You can get them calibrated for $38 at the Snap On repair center. Well worth the price to use quality tools.

Oh, yeah, and did I mention: use Red Line lubricants. Somebody had to say it.
