Default Tour pak bag suggestions 06 ultra SE

I just bouht a ultra SE. This has the leather tour pak with smaller rack. Anyone have any suggestions on a rack bag? I want a large one, big enought for 2 to pack clothes for a few days.

I'm not sure how much smaller the rack is on the SE, but I would guess (so that means don't bet on it) that most standard size straps would adjust down to it. Here's a pic of my large T-Bag mounted on mine. I cut about 8" of mounting strap off of both the front and back...

Hope this helps a bit.

Be careful with the weight you put back there. I heard a 20 lb limit was all the tourpak could hold with out spiderwebbing the paint.

I'm interested also in what types of bags folks are using. A big bag could be a tempation to exceed the 20 lb weight limit.

If you ride aggressively I would say don't use any thing big or heavy that will cause to loose control on curvy roads. Most of the bags always fit large luggage rack haven't seen any for smaller rack yet you might want to Google it.when we plan a long ride we only pack enough for 3 days and do laundry at the hotels.

Thanks, I'll keep searching. There is an endless supply of styles and sizes out there. Im used to just straping all down on a luggage rack on the back of my RK. Now, things are a bid different. Thanks again for all the help.

guy i ride with uses a T-Bag rolling bag (the big one) on his SE tour pack. I guess with the leather bag he is less concerned with the bag touching the tour pack.
