I love the Low Rider - probably the best "in town" rider I've ever owned - due to the ergos and "oomph" from the 96". But it's in serious need of a better suspension and I've yet to find a windshield that doesn't cause me double-vision and headaches at highway speeds. I'm open to upgrading the suspension to Progressives and trying some additional windshields but at the same time, my dealer is offering me a pretty fair trade-in on the Low Rider if I want to move back to a Road Glide.
(It's been awhile since I had my Road Glide so I don't remember if I had a problem with buffeting - thus my question.)

Have read many posts about buffeting on this site over the last year and no matter what the model of bike, it always seems that someone will mention that the air coming from underneath and around the legs is the biggest problem. I know this has been true for me on 3 different models. Not too sure about a Road Glide though.

Phil,
By the way... I was up at American Eagle Saturday and for grins and giggles, checked out a Ulysses. (I love Buells!). Unfortunately, even with the new lower seat for '07, it's still too high for me. At 5'6", I could barely tiptoe it. [sm=headbang.gif]
