Wow... Just had a chance to jump back on and check this over lunch today, and I really appreciate all the quick responses. I'll do some more research based upon all of the suggestions, but I'd be lying if I said the Thunderheader isn't probably tops on my list right now. Did you guys with Thunderheaders end up doing a new air cleaner and tune at the same time? If so, any recommendations there? Saw some stuff on an autotune module from ThunderMax that sounded interesting.

CFR, Carrey Fass Racing, that gets it done for me. But maybe I like the attention that they get. It works.

I run an 09 stock headpipe with the thunderheader slipons (thundercones), airstrike rc components air caleaner, and thundermax. The bike all around runs and sounds awesome! Type in viper817 on YouTube and I have some clips of the setup and also just the slipons with cat still in.

The Thunderheader 2 into 1 sounds like the winner. I do love the dual exhaust look though, so my question is, do you think (or does anyone have and can respond) that the Thunderheader True Dual system has the same sound and performance as the 2 into 1?

Personally I don't like the sound of Thunderheader duals. They do work pretty well according to my dyno tuner, as they do have a little crossover in them. But the signature music only comes from the 2-1...

My dad loves the performance of his Thunderheader and we both dig the sound. I agree the 2-1 is the ticket. I too like the symmetry of duels and I see TH offers the 2-1 with a falsee for the left side....considering that...hmmm

I've got the T-header with a ghostpipe. 2-1 performance, dual looks.
