ET sensor = engine temp sensor. Page 4-87 and 4-88 of the 2008 touring electric diagnostic manual will show you a flow chart on how to deal with that code.
Like I keep a copy of the 2008 touring electric diagnostic manual laying around for easy referance ...
So ... Without running out and buying another manual, what's gonna happen here?
With an "Engine Sensor High" code, Is my engine going to melt down into a puddle of molten metal?

most people have the service manual, and the parts manual, then they half step and don't buy the electrical diagnostics. unfortunately, electrical problems are the hardest to diagnose.
this thread is a good reminder to buy the elec diag manual. for me, too.

Pretty sarcastic reply to someone who's offered you help and direction to your problem.
Is this a copyright infringement? Where is a mod when you need one? For that matter, isn't this entire thread a copyright infringement? Is there a mod in the house?

Didn't see you offering any help, other than to criticize ...[/quote] Electrical problems are not my strong suit hence the reason I didn't offer any input. Still doesn't change the fact that I felt your reply to help that was offered was sarcastic. Seeing that dawg sent you a PM and he being a very good friend of mine, I would say with 100% certainty that he overlooked your sarcasm and gave you detailed info.
