2010 flhtk
I had Wolfgang do an upgrade on my bike and wanted to ask those of you that have had similar upgrades on how they are working for you. I upgraded my cams to woods, (not shure which ones, I will post later) big sucker, and D & D two into one header and muffler set up. The bike sounds great but at low RPM's it seems to stumble, 1100 to about 1500, then backfire through the muffler and take off. I don't like the way I have to ride it so that it doesn't do it (slipping the clutch and getting the RPM's up) Also, the fuel mileage is only about 33mpg on the highway. Just looking to see if anyone has had an experience like this and what you did to correct it.
You need to richen the 900 to about 2000 range about 10% and lean the cruise range 2000 to 3200 about 5% from off idle throttle position to around 40% throttle position. Make sure no detonation afterwards on the lean out. This is assuming you have a engine controller which I assume you do. If you had it dynoed take it back and get them to fix it or if you didn't you would be better off to get it dynoed. I would fix the stumble first then work on the mpg. Some of the mpg maybe from playing with the new power. Most of my mpg lose was from playing with the throttle more after modifications. I have 2010 FLHTK also.
