guess they want you to pay for a stupid name... no VON nuthen on my harley, ya can buy a whole exhaust system for the price they want for JUST mufflers with the ugliest name plate on them, even tho they claim on there website that they are exquisite, unique..blah blah haha JMO
Gotta disagree on that one.... If "Von" Dutch could rise from the grave I would allow him to scribble all over my scoot with a sharpened rock!
I didn't like the silly screens on the Von Braun's. Otherwise, I was interested if it was a high quality unit.

Don't know about the sharpened rock thing you refer to, might be taken it too far but like you trying to see how high quality they are for that type of loot.
The mufflers are not tunable according to the website, and the baffles have to be changed by the factory or you loose the warranty. For that price they should be VOICE tunable! Too much coin for a slipon.
I had a 2010 Ultra Limited, with Fuel Motto Jackpot 2-1-2 head pipe and Von Braun slip ons. There is a utube video of my bike and the Von Braun slip ons. They sound great and the reason they are the best is because they understand the importance of back pressure. These slipons are baffeled to provide more low-end torque, without sacrificing top-end performance.
