I have the 9" Long Ride Shield (standard flip) in light smoke (?) and I am 6'2" with a 34 inseam. Works great - comes to around my chin/nose and all the air kicks up over my head. I do get hit in the face with rain, but I avoid riding in the rain so it's no big deal for me.

Default Clearview Shields

I am also 6'3" tall and I ride an 02 Ultra. The top of my original shield was right in my line of sight. I just bought and installed a 15.5" recurve with a 5 position adjustable vent. I have riden some 350 + miles with it and I love it. You can only get it with a smoke tint but it works for me. The vent allows enough air to allow for some cooling. No air around the top of my helmet and no bugs on my face shield. Check out their website.

I'm 5'11 and bought a Klock Werks Flare 10.5 tinted. It was a little too tall for me. I took it off after a 40 mile ride. Now have a 8.5 Klock Werks, better for shorter guys. I have the 10.5 in the box basically brand new. you can email me at gary.gman66@gmail.com if your interested.

These Klock Werks flare shields are awesome, I tried others and was dissapointed. You don't get buffeting with the KWs, only nice smooth air. Look damn good too.(at least to me)

+1 on the LRS shields. I have the 10" one. Love it. I can still duck down behind it if needed. If you want to look through it just get a higher one. Great quality as well can see through them very nicely

Thumbs up Clearview all the way

I am also 6'3" and I have the 9.5 dark gray clearview recurve on my FLHX. Their customer service and support is excellent and their product is second to none. Check out thier web site and give them a call. Highly recommended.

I was just through the w/s search. I am 6-2, and found a 8" SG type w/s in light smoke, worked perfect. 8" or 10" will do it. Bought mine on Ebay; $37.00 shipped.

Default Windshied for tall guys

I am 6 ft.2 in. and ride an 07 FLHTC. I bought a 10 in. Clearview somke tinted recurve and it looked great for rideing in town but on the highway it tried to blow my do rag off.
I then ordered a 12 in. Clearview clear recurve and liked it real well using a stock HD Road Glide seat.
I recently changed over to a Corbin Two up Touring seat and it seems to raise me up just enough that I am back in the air stream.
I ordered a new 14 in. smoke tinted Clearview recurve on Monday, that should be delivered tomorrow. So I will know more about this issue tomorrow evening.
I recommend the Clearview recurve because of the way it looks as well as the way it preforms, it just depends on the seat that you use as well as your rideing heigth.
Happy Trail's
