I'm 6'2" and bought a 12" Clearview Shield, tinted, with recurve. Works well.

 

Long Ride 11 inch flat top ultra for me. Can see over in the rain or just look through it for even more protection. Works great.

 

here's my solution. 4" opaque with UGLY goggles! I got tired of lookin through the glass!

 

I received my 14 in. clearview recure today and took it for a test ride and found out that I should have ordered a Clear version insted of the smoke tinted. Its great for the daytime but at night I look thru the top of the smoke tint. I also found out that the source of the turblance is from under the fairing and not over the windshield.
I have not ridden very much the last year due to a couple heart attacks and valve failure but NOW I remember why I bought the wings for under the windshield. **** like this happens when Ya get old, so I will be hideing my own Easter Eggs this year.
The bottom line is that I like the feel of the 14 in. and I can just put my gell seat with its cover on it to raise me up at night to see over the top for a "CLEARVIEW".
I am going to put my wings back on under the fairing bottom tomorrow and go for another test ride trying out the wings on both my 14 in. as well as my 12 in..
