YES, lock 'em every time. My dealer told me that they are suseptible to unlocking under the right conditions.

I normally dont lock them while riding and never had one pop open.

Ran into a group of seven badgers on Sat. Asked and 4 of seven have had it happen. All whose opened were riding 2010 or newer

Lock them every time now

I always keep mine locked. Keep small stuff in there, tool kit, first aid kit, etc

They can get downright nasty if cornered

Never thought of having bags locked while riding..hmmm...learn something new here every day!
