Jeff, call your mother

 

I always try to avoid confrontation with someone who can use their car as a weapon. There are a lot of people on the road who can't control their temper, and we're pretty easy to kill when we're on a motorcycle.
I've had several people try to come into my lane. Each time, just blew the horn and they swerve back into their lane. I know it might not always work, but each time it happened, my wife was on the back and I can't put our lives in danger just because I think I'm in the right.

You did a dumb thing on the road and now are making a dumb comment. I'm sure that you wrote that message to get support and make it seem that you are real cool but in reality you did the worst possible thing. Avoid is what we do not provoke and teach newer riders that it's perfectly ok act that way.

 

I ride with people like you. I will probably go to their funerals someday.
They will speed up and cut in front of them within 4 feet. I guess to show them who can't be pushed around. I never have figured that stunt out.
Hell one time one of them sped down the shoulder on the right side to chew them out driving down the road.

Calm down and back away when you see trouble.

 

I totally agree with Jeff, why ask for trouble. Instead of speeding up to be on the side of his car, slow down and give him room.

Ha! No doubt, nytryder. Taking a guy's story and bash him like some "ride manner police"...and a guy waaaay too new to the group to be slamming people in here is beyond lame.

Yeah, bad form all around, but who the h**l is he to be calling the OP a "nit wit"? Gimme a flippin break. KMA is more like it, nice restraint to say "call your mother" (and damn funny).
