Take your battery to Sears / Auto Zone have them check it, with a "Load Tester"

Check Ignition Coil: $ 20 - $ 50

How Old is your gas ? http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/stabil/products.aspx

It's MM EFI. I pulled the fuel assembly out and didn't find any leaks. I think that I might end up replacing the battery too.

I will check the Ignition coils.
The Crank Position sensor is brand new.Just replaced it last week.
I will see about getting the load test done on the battery. I had it tested at HD, but I don't think it was load tested.

Actually the gas tank is FULL and I actually thought that I might of got some bad gas so I added fuel injection cleaner and fuel treatment to the tank. The sputtering at 4000 rpms started right after I put the gas in.

Hi,

you've been throwing parts at this bike with out a proper diagnosis it would seem.

Be careful you can CAUSE further damage if you are not sure how to check the ignition system you can destroy it.

I would take off the air cleaner and squirt a little (just a little) gas in the throttle body. You can also use starter fluid (better). if It tries to start it would appear it has to do with something in the fuel system. Also as suggested take out one plug and strip some wire then wrap it around the threads tape it on so it won't fall off (make sure you don't cover up the part that fires) take the other striped end and attach to a bare ground on the bike. The reason for this is if you just hold the plug with your hand as you are cranking it and you accidentally loose your ground, you might damage your computer, not 100% on that but why take a chance. Crank it and look for spark.

They also make a little tool for checking for spark some you just lay on the spark plug wire and it lights up as you crank it, another tester you remove the plug wire, stick plug wire on one end of tester and the other end of tester goes on the plug. I think Harbor freight has them.

Lastly if if you have fire, and it didn't fire with you spray starter fluid in it, pull the plugs and spray a little right in the spark plug hole, replace plugs and turn over.

Make sure your battery has a charger on it or charge it overnight. If it's low it may have enough juice to turn it over but not enough to operate the injection system too.

Hope this helps.

Leave the spark plug wire hooked to the spark plug and touch the other end to your tongue then hold onto the frame......Just Kidding.

Seriously:
Get a pair of insulated pliers and hold the other end to anything that is grounded. If it is getting fire, you should see and arc over the plug gap.

Hmmm take it to the dealer or an Indy, let them figure it out. Probably in less than 15 minutes! I only fix the obvious stuff myself. Just get it done so you can ride!
