A guy local to me has a brand new street glide he's getting chrome wheels and new tires on it. I can buy his low mile tire and wheel set pretty reasonable. I believe this will look pretty good on my ultra. Has anyone else done this?

 

Yes they'll fit. Biggest issue is to make ure the right bearing is in the wheel for the axle size. Put '07 SG wheels on my '02 Electra Glide.

 

You don't say what year your own bike is. The new SG has 25mm wheel bearings, which will fit an 09 or later Ultra. The rear wheel won't easily fit earlier bikes.

 

I have an 09 ultra, the wheels I wanna put on are '12 street glide wheels.

 

I put 08 wheels on my 05, I like the fact that the tire has no tube now and if need be I can plug or use slime on the tire on the road and avoid the tow truck!
