Default Lost My Lights

99 FLHRCI Road King Classic - no headlight, running lights or tail light including brake lights. Checked the two fuses under the left side cover - good. My turn signals work and no other problems electronically. Any ideas?

Did you check all the fuses or just those 2 and how did you check them?

I'm not sure , 99 Road King have the on,off, acc **** on the tank?

It may be the contacts starting to get crap on them...

you can take it apart and clean the copper contacts

start with the easy stuff first -- the fuse

check contacts

check under rear fender--make sure wires are not frayed -- this happened to me

There are more than 2 fuses on your Road King...Check under the other side cover...There is a rectangular plastic block...pull it out toward you ...look on the bottom there is a latch on each side...release the latches and and pull the cover off to expose the fuses...Wipe the cover off and it will show you the location of what fuse is what...I am thinking it will be your acc.fuse

If your fuses are good, check to see if there's voltage to the fuses. If you have voltage to (and through) the fuses, then check to see if there's voltage at the tail light (easiest to access). Check by measuring hot side to frame ground. If no voltage to the fuses, bad switch. If voltage to the tail light, probably bad ground wire.
