Smile Woods Cam Noise

I had the noise problem with the Woods cams very annoying. Installed the Knight prowler directional lifters and they reduced the noise by a good 50%. Quite happy with the results.

I'm resurrecting this thread a bit, i just installed the FM 107" with the 555's and directional lifters and adjustable pushrods, and mine are very very loud.. i double-checked the pushrods because maybe I didn't tighten them enough, or overtightened them..but they seem to be where they should..no travel but able to rotate around fairly easily like in the FM videos... any thoughts, ideas?

Maybe you need to load the lifters a bit more. Maybe give Jamie a call.

Probably just going to have to do that. I replaced all the orings in the cam chest, and they were all seated properly and didn't look pinched or any of them out of place. For all i know it's just my imagination. First time I had ever rebuilt an engine and all.
