For the first time in my entire riding life, I decided to work on my bike myself and not pay harley. I bought several items including Reinhart slipons, strut covers and the softbrake license plate relocation bracket.

Everything went on smoothly except the softbrake bracket. For the life of me I cannot get the left side turnsignal bracket bolt flush inside the fender. I fiddled with the stupid thing for hours.....what am I missing? I have the bolt in slanted, it is tight and everything seems to line up but being a perfectionist I would like it flush like it is suppose to be..please help any advise???
