Default Bugs, whyisit

I don't expect an answer, just blowing off steam, but why is it I can drive my truck 60 miles round trip to work and have just one bug commit suicide on the windshield? The next day I ride the bike and I seem to have a dozen or more hit the windshield. The bike takes up less road than the truck, seems it would be reversed. I think those damn bugs figure if they're gonna commit hari kari, they'll go in style on a harley rather than a chevy. It's raining today so I guess I'll go wash those damn bugs off the bike.

The smooth surfaces of a truck probably create an air cushion around it that keeps the bugs moving while the awful aerodynamics of a bike hit them head-on.

That's exactly it, they have little eyes but they can see a harley coming a mile away. They wait like a snake in the grass and dart out in front of you. I guess there is no suicide help line for bugs.

In the "bug" world it is more honorable to say you were killed by a Harley than by a Chevy!!!

Car (truck) makers actually wind tunnel test their designs, Harley doesn't.

Bugs really dig the sound of your pipes.

Try sticking a Light just infront of your windshield on the Truck ans see if you get better results.

The fact that your light is directly infront of your windshield at center ice, has alot to do with it.

Check your front Grill bet you have more than 1 Komakazi to clean off.

My question is "Why do hard shell bugs fly 1" higher than my shield and 1/2" lower than my helmet!" They hurt on your forehead and the tip of the ole nose!!

I find that if I stick my head up a little bit and open my mouth we don't have to stop for lunch.
