Shock Explanation.....
Good dar, Riders.
I do understand the cost and limited life of motorcycle tires. The materials used, the "stickiness", weight and heat factors are all understandable for expensive tires and low mileage life.
But what I can't understand is the relative costs of after market shocks for motorcycles.
High quality after market shocks for a 1 ton truck - $80.00/per.
High quality after market shocks for a motorcycle - $250.00/per.
Is there any reasonable explanation for this price variance?

its simple....whatever the market will bear...if people will pay the big bucks they will sell them for the big bucks...also there is not a lot of competition making them for cheaper, trying to undercut the more expensive ones..
