Question anyone experience this?

Riding home in the Ar. hills this eve coming home fron an A.B.A.T.E meeting, whenever I used the high beam, the lights would dim and the voltage would drop off. Voltage stayed up around 14.5 with the low beam and driving lights. Any ideas?

I'd also check the connections to the bulb, high beam terminal especially.

Probably some corrosion somewhere.

Good luck.

Also won't hurt to spray a little contact cleaner in the bright/dim switch.
Any possibility that you have done something and pinched a wire?

Also make sure you have good clean ground connections both at the light and at the battery....
