I wouldn't recommend it - go to UHaul, or even most of the home store chains rent trailers...much safer & easier loading/off-loading.

if i was going to do it, i'd add wood or something for weight displacement and maybe even a extra chain to the normal straps that hold the bed door.

ok since you posted a pic I have to ask. my family has owned dodges and jeeps before but never the SRT truck. so is that tail gate even usable with that wing monstrosity, or does it come off easily when you are actually using it a truck and not a mall crawler?

OK, I have a Taco DCSB, and I love it! Best vehicle I have ever owned! I'm not gonna get into the whole "real truck vs fake truck" or "American vs import" debate. That could go on forever, and thats not what we're here for. This is a Harley forum after all. I love my Taco and I love my Harley that should suffice. I do love the HD F-150's tho!
However, as others have said the Taco's tailgate is real flimsy, and I would never attempt to haul my precious RK in that tiny bed of my truck. Play it safe and get a trailer that was designed to haul your precious cargo!

I wouldn't haul my bike in my 3500 Dually, if it rested on the tailgate. Simple as that. Get a trailer.

Broke my straps on Tacoma loading 4wheeler. I wouldn't do it, but if you do it, video it.
