feeling messed over
That you Dave ?
you were obviously hot to get a bike. even though they didn't have the crossbones you originally wanted, you got a deluxe instead. you didn't like it after having it for a while, then you decided you didn't want it so you went for a streetglide. you gotta figure that the salesperson is a vulture waiting for people who got the hots for a bike "today" will buy anything just to get on a bike. a bit of patience would have prevented this whole ordeal. take your time, make a wise choice, and know that it's your money you're spending. usually we can only learn this lesson through experience. i learned it a long time ago cause i'm so damm tight that when i pass gas, only dogs can hear me.
Why didn't you just post date the cheque. Problem avoided. And honestly, you haven't thought any of these decisions thru whatsoever. You now have fuc$ed up your credit by missing a payment or bouncing a cheque or whatever and you bought 2 pieces of crap that you didn't want anyways. Face it man you did this to yourself. You coulda bought a cheap used metric and rode it,without financing til you found exactly what you were looking for. The numbers added up is over 5000 bucks and you got a junk bike that's in the shop costing you more money. Jeeez a brand new yamaha 1300 is like 6 grand out the door with no miles. Or you could have bought a used one for 2 grand and ridden it til your dream bike was found.
Sorry about your situation but this seems to me that you did it to yourself.
WTF were you thinking giving a salesman a cheque with no money in your account. Post-date the damned thing.
Now I suggest you walk into the dealership and talk to the sales manager or something to get this worked out then walk out and drift that slimy pos salesman right on the button. A lawyer is just gonna cost more money and it seems to me you spent enough already.
