Default Power Duals

Is anyone running Power Duals with stock mufflers? My wife hates my monster rounds and wants to go back to stock mufflers.

It can be done.

( your ears are likely blocked from direct sound by the saddle bags, hers are not, she also may be experiencing more wind noise if she is sitting higher than you)

If you are looking for a high flow performance pipe with controlled volume, look at supertrapp supermegs, or the S/E nightstick and fatshots which can be set up like the supermegs by changing the number of discs in the stack and the end caps.

the S/E mufflers can often be found at a real saving from other riders.

the stacked discs allow great exhaust flow, while breaking up sound waves, the closed end cap also restricts high frequency sound from projecting directly to the rear

supermegs look like this:

Replace the wife? Have you lost your mind? It's much cheaper to replace the pipes...or bike and pipes...or maybe a couple of new bikes and a new truck...

Take the Monster rounds off, replace them with straight pipes.
She will soon beg you to put the Monster rounds back on.

Or........ simply tell her to stay home and bake, do the laundry, and dishes.
Bitties, go figure, now they are picking out pipes to match their outfits.

What do you think guys?

Yes, but then you are left with a loud wife and quiet pipes.

My brother in law told me after he just bought his Ultra that I really needed a intercom system, I laughed and said no way, we talk enough as it is. After the ride he said I wanted to rip that intercom system right out of the socket, loud pipes sorta do the same, get it.
