Tell your wife, my wife falls asleep on the back of my Ultra................don't need no stinking rails to hold onto. One fits snugly in seat with the armrests and rear speakers.

Haha, I don't know how she lifts herself up to adjust things..........I do know that every now and again she will adjust her position and move herself back, after a few stop signs and she slides a little forward.

I found it in HD 2012 catalog, pg. 353, it WILL fit your bike.

Happy Holidays,

Not sure about the newer bikes.
I know the books said they wouldn't fit my '08 Ultra. I had to bend them a little so they don't hit the speakers.

Buy a good aftermarket backrest for the wife, like the Mustang. The arm rests are significantly longer and the seatback is better fitting...according to my wife....and both of these features facilitate easier "adjustments" while putting just a little pressure on the foot boards and the arm rests to aid the "wiggling around" that they all seem to do.

Hey, I would not listen to these Bozo's, if your wife said they don't exist, there must be no such thing! Don't let them lead you down that Road! Listen to the little voice, before it gets loud! The wife knows it all!!! ;>P

Looks like there is a specific grab rail for model years '06-'08. (Standard equipment prior to '06.) Harley-Davidson part #91583-99

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

I had an '02 and '03. Bought a new '06 and didn't realize that Harley had 'de-contented' the passenger grab rails until my son went to get on the bike and asked 'who took my handles?' Salesperson: 'oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that...' cha-ching!
