Default Gerbing's Rocks

I just returned from my first ride (40*) with the Gerbing's Jacket Liner and G3 Gloves. I know it's been said before, but this stuff"s freakin' awesome! I can't believe I went without it this long. Getting wired-up is kind of a pain, but once you are, it's smooth sailing!

Have to agree I have the jacket and gloves left my OL house today and it was 38 degrees, even at 75 I was warm and comfortable for the 30 mile ride home, didn't even have to turn it all way up.

Had the gloves. Just got the liner. Can't wait until the snow is gone and, more importantly, the salt is off of the roads in Feb or March to try it all out!

+1 on Gerbings! Getting "wired up" shouldn't be a pain. If you're using a controller try contacting Captain Itch for a controller mount. He is in the process of designing them right now. I pre-wired a power port (direct battery connection) to my crotch cooler and am using a controller mount that Captain Itch designed. I get dressed, go out to the bike, sit down, plug 2 wires in and ride away.

I've had my Gerbing J Liner and gloves for a year now. Makes a long ride in the cold great! I have avoided needing heated clothing "below the belt". Long johns, Jeans, Chaps and the Ultra lower fairings keep my legs comfortable. Thick socks and boots keep the feet ok, sometimes helped by those chemical heating packets you can buy at Walmart.
