Default My $3.49 iPhone mount + other new stuff

Since I put on my 10" apes, I needed to get my iPhone off of my bars, Here is what I came up with:

I used Velcro to attatch it to by T-Bags windshield pouch.

I also installed my LA Choppers lowering kit, and it works great, no change in ride quality, and I am more stable at stops.

And Installed my cheapo throttle lock that attaches to the star under the right hand controls. Nice and easy thumb flick locks her down.

I had thought about mounting my phone like that, although I thought of double sided tape. I worry about the velcro letting go under vibration.

Good idea but might want to have the velcro sewn into your pouch. I have used velcro in the past but the south Texas heat melts the glue and it lets go in a slimy mess.

Industrial grade velcro holds well. You can get it at home depot and other outlets. Learned about it from a parapalegic friend. He would use it to attach heavy stuff to his wheelchair. Here is a link to what i use:

Something to think about. It does get steaming hot here in the summer. I wonder if some Leather rivets would be easier to do.

I used a very similar product, with the thought that it should hold. I am probably going to leave it be unless I run into a problem.

I bought a adjustable cell phone/ipod mount from the store and then formed up a bracket at work the tucks behind the windshield and is tightened down by the middle screw.
