Default PowerVision Question

I have a 2011 SG 103 and after downloading the tune to my scoot it seems to start hard...Jamie said to check the calibration and see if the ACR is on .....I emailed Jamie and I'm sure he's a bit busy so just wondering if checking it is as easy as plugging back into the bike and changing it there or do I have to do that on the computer change it there and reflash to the bike...... bike runs great just seems to hard start.

I do not have PV, but sounds like comp release issue.
Call FM they are good on support.

i have the same bike, I put rinehart classic duals, and FM ac, flashed mine with the PV and it started right up. I'm gonna do a data run and check all my settings after that, my bike is still running a little lean.

I loaded the tune and took it off for now....might be mounting it sooner the later

I thought I had power vision because I could see all that tiny fuzzy dust on all the signs, turns out I needed glasses.

I don't think you can change it on the bike, I think you have to do it in WinPV. Some stuff you can do on the bike, other stuff is on the PC. It is real easy....just hook the PV to teh computer, launch the program, load the file, go to Limits and Switches, then pick Active Compression. It should be set to 1 to be on, if not, change it and save the file. Then plug it into the bike and flash it.

You will need to download the WinPV software so you can open the map. Once you have the map open the ACR switch is under Limits and Switches and is called Active Compression Release. If the Value is set to zero it is turned off. All you need to do is set the value to 1, save the file, upload it to the PV and flash the new and improved map to your bike. Hope this helps.

I sent an email this afternoon with instructions on to make sure the comp releases are turned on, they are turned on in all of our 103" calibrations. As noted if you had your ignition switch turned on for an extended period I would make sure your battery is at a full charge

Checking the battery IS a good option. I have a 2012 103" with PowerVision, cam, exhaust, air, etc. and had the comp releases off for a little while and she started as soon as you touched the button, nothing hard about it at all. I turned them back on to make sure I didn't wear the starter down.
