Good point.

I was thinking about the length difference, but yea - the rear header is like "Z" shaped. True.

I'd say it the exhaust path. On my V&H Dresser Duals, the rear pipe goes straight out the back, while the front pipe has 3 more bends in it and it goes underneath the bike. I'm sure its fine.

On the chirp, take your foot and push down on the rear of each pipe while it's running but still cool. The rubber mounts for the mufflers will make some strange noises when running.

I had duals on my 04 RK, Just switched to Drago's 2-1. My bike did the same thing with duals on, Left head pipe is shorter and has more bends. Back head has to work alittle harder to get the gasses out. My bike also chirps while riding on concrete, See if they chirp on asphalt, If so, check your rubber blocks where your slipons are mounted. They dry out and need replaced, very cheap item. Like 4 bucks.

Now the question.....

Bike runs great, pulls like a tractor and sounds solid. When idling, I put one hand behind each pipe.

The right pipe (front jug) goes:
POP-POP-POP-POP

The left pipe (rear jug) goes
Puff........ Puff....... Puff.......Puff.....

I haven't figured out how to check it while I toodle down the road at 50 MPH yet

Is this a true dual thing due to the longer header off the front? Should I be looking into adjustment on the pushrods on the rear? Could I have a compression issue on the rear jug? Or, am I freaking out about nothing?

I do have an exhaust-leak kinda sound (chirpy), but that was there before I did any of this work and I was really, really careful and thorough when I did the mods.

Thanks folks!
One of the mufflers probably has the wrong baffle. Most mufflers are setup for a header with a crossover.

Good point! With the stock pipes the right flowed more exhaust than the left and the mufflers look the same, but are different inside.

If the mufflers you have on are stock ones, a pair of proper after-market mufflers will fix that.
