I am thinking of getting a larger shiel for my sg. I see that Long Ride shields are a sponser here so I checked them out. I think that the 8" is going to work just right for me. First off, who here has or had one and can you give me any testimonials. Secondly, does anyone know of a discount code. I know $80 is a reasonable price but I have this big Harley I have to pay for, dontcha know. Thanks for any input you can give.

Memory is a little fuzzy but I either got the medium or dark tint (med probably) in a 7" or 8" Ultra. I really lkie mine. I'm 5'6" and it dicks the air right over the top of my helmet. Most of the time I look through the top of the shield but if I sit up straight I can see over and the wind still goes right over the top. Whenever this one gets too messed up I'll get another.

yep, i have got their 8 inch stealth on my sg, love it, now three of my buddies have them.

 

This is the 9.0 inch medium tint on my '11 Ultra Classic. I liked it a lot. The tint was darker than some of the other shields out there, but not so dark that it bothered me at night. Of course, I am looking over the shield and not through it.

 

I installed the 8" Ultra dark tint on my SG last week. Only regret is I didn't do so sooner! Looks good, works great and is a huge difference over the stock.

 

I have a LRS on my Road King, forget the height but it's equivalent to stock height. I look over it, top of window is about even with my chin, maybe slightly higher. Wind goes right over my head, it's perfect. I bought a "blem", which was deeply discounted, and I can't find the blem on it anywhere even though it was specifically described in the listing. Besids, once a couple of bugs are smashed on it who can tell the diference between a blem and a bug anyhow??

 

I have my 8" flip for 2 years and I really like it.

 

I've got my 8 in med on mine, I've had them on 2 bikes. Great shield.
