Default 21"vs23"

I'm looking at some of the differences between a 21" and 23" front wheel setup. I've had the 21" on my 07, with no complaints at all. Then went with 2010 CVO which is 18"(I think?) and liked it, but still liked the larger look. Now seems there are several 21's around so just thought I'd be different and go 23". I ride between 5-10,000 miles a year. With one trip either from Ohio to Fl or AZ. So it will be ridden. Any input is appreciated.

If you dont rake the front end you will have about 2" of travel before you smack your lower tree into the fender!
Plus its just starting to look silly IMHO.

Ya, I'm going with an American suspension entire frontend. They offer it raked for either 21 or 23. So that's not a problem.

Another thing you have to consider about the 23 is not a lot of place keep them in stock so if you are out on the road and something happens to the tire, unless you have a spare around you might be stuck for awhile. Also wear is a lot quicker on the 23. Just a few more things to think about.

We have a shop Street Glide with a 23". My personal bike has a 21". I have ridden both and neither is an issue for me. I feel that I could ride either of the bieks all day long. I realize that this does not help your decision but if you are used to riding with a 21" a 23" will not be a problem.
